We offer periodic inspection and testing services, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).

All electrical installations, in both domestic and commercial sectors, should be inspected and tested on a regular basis primarily to assure safety and energy consumption efficiency and for ongoing fit for purpose application.
Whether it’s your home, a business or a property you rent, your electrical installation should always be covered by an in-date Electrical Condition Report.

Regular electrical inspections help prevent potential issues arising with electrical installations such as circuit disruption to electric shock prevention and potential fire hazards. As members of the NICEIC we are here to ensure that your electrical installations are kept in check.

How Often?

Homeowners –BS7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) recommend an EICR every 10 years.

Whilst not a legal requirement to have an EICR, as a business owner or Director, you are responsible for employee welfare which includes their health and safety. The ‘electricity at work regulations’ requires precautions are in place to prevent risk of injury from electricity used in the work place. BS7671 recommend having an EICR undertaken at least every 5 years.
